We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented Senior Infrastructure System Engineer. This role can be based remotely anywhere in Romania. English required. Experience/knowledge in infrastructure technologies mandatory. 

Core Accountabilities:

Responsible for day-to-day support, maintenance and administrative duties for the Windows servers/Office 365/Azure cloud environments and enterprise applications, that reside within the company’s infrastructure. In charge of designing, implementing, and testing solutions based on company’s functional and business requirements.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Part of a dedicated team providing services/support for on-premises and Azure cloud solutions built on virtual and physical infrastructures.
• Will provide appropriate day-to-day support, maintenance and administrative duties for the server environment and enterprise applications (Active Directory, Windows Servers, SCCM, SCOM, DPM, SQL Servers, VMware, Office 365 environment, Azure cloud, etc.) that reside within the infrastructure environment.
• Design, implement, and test solutions based on functional and business requirements.
• Responsibility for maintaining the server infrastructure and undertaking appropriate logging, monitoring, problem diagnosis and capacity management duties.
• Managing the server infrastructure to ensure high availability of systems to the organization.
• Performs installation of operating systems and application software on servers.
• Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Provide monitoring and support for all enterprise applications.
• Develop policies procedures and other documentation required to support the infrastructure environment.
• Provide 2^nd and 3^rd line support duties and assist the Service Desk team with pertinent technical solutions.

Essential Work Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge:

• Microsoft Server systems and associated server technologies experience
•           Azure and Office 365 technologies experience
• Virtualization technologies experience

Technical Work Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge:

•        Experience with Microsoft Server systems and associated server technologies

•        Experience with Azure and Office 365 technologies

•        Experience with Virtualization technologies

•        Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center suite

•        Good working experience with Active Directory and group policies

•        Networking understanding (routing/DNS/Firewalls/Load Balancers)

•        Backup technologies working knowledge (Azure Recovery Services Vault/DPM/others)

•        A solid understanding of the concepts and processes involved with ITIL

•        Understanding of IT infrastructure and help desk issues and challenges across a global organization
